• The answer: Yes — the City Clerk's Business & Trade Licenses page lists "Solicitors (Door-to-Door sales)" among the enterprises that must register and file for a business license with the City of Dearborn, for a fee.
• Where it comes from: The Dearborn City Clerk's Office (313-943-2010). An iChat background check is required to submit the application, and the Dearborn Police Department must approve every background check before the business license issues.
