Partly read: the permit answer is sourced, but the fee or the hours could not be read from the city’s own pages. The clerk questions below cover the gap.

The Eastvale code has no peddler or solicitor permit chapter: Title 6 (Business Regulations) lists none, and a search of the code for peddler, canvasser and door-to-door turns up only Chapter 8.19, which covers aggressive solicitation in public places. Every business operating anywhere in the city, including one run on a mobile basis, needs a business registration certificate (6.72.040).
• Where it comes from: The city issues the business registration certificate on its own sworn application form (6.72.070(a)). The city website (eastvaleca.gov) refused an automated reader, so the office and the form were not read.
